On the Cutting EDGE

CEAttachments introduces new EDGE three-point rotary brush cutters for compact utility tractors. They feature a beavertail-style rear deck panel constructed of heavy-duty, 11-gauge steel that deflects cut material downward. The rear wheel assembly features three height adjustment settings to cut grass and brush between 1 and 11 inches from the ground. Two .5-inch-thick, 4-inch-wide blades are mounted to a tough stump jumper pan for efficient cutting.

OREGON has announced the expansion of its 40V MAX* Cordless Tool System. The PS250 Pole Saw has a telescoping shaft that extends quickly from 7 feet, 3 inches to 10 feet, 4 inches, and allows for up to 15 feet of reach. The PS250’s mid-mount motor design offers reduced elevated weight and improved balance and ergonomicss. The Pole Saw features an integrated branch hook and weighs only 13.5 pounds with either the 2.4 Ah or 4.0 Ah battery pack.


Ready-to-Use Trunk Injections

ArborSystems introduces a ready-to-use systemic antibiotic direct-inject chemical line that is used in the Wedgle Direct-Inject Tree Injection System. The new antibiotic line has two chemical products for trunk injection treatment. Terrier Antibiotic treats bacterial leaf scorch in elm, oak, sycamore, oleander and sweet gum trees; fire blight in mountain ash trees; ash yellows in ash trees; and phloem necrosis in elm trees. Springer Antibiotic is for seasonal suppression of lethal yellow disease in palms.


The Hi Life

The Terex Hi-Ranger TM100 non-overcenter, telescoping aerial device boasts a series of improvements. Updates include decreased travel height and lower overall weight to support installation on standard factory trucks, including a 6×6 chassis. Other enhancements include new outriggers and sub-frame configuration that reduces the vehicle’s weight and allows for increased payload capacity. Offers an overall height of 13 feet, length of 38 feet, 4 inches, and a gross vehicle weight rating of 52,000 pounds.
