Self-Propelled Stump Grinder

Bandit Industries introduces the new Model 2550XP self-propelled stump grinder, available with up to 44 horsepower. Featuring beltless hydrostatic direct-drive, the Model 2550XP sets new standards for stump grinder production, reliability, chip containment and low maintenance. The 2550XP offers a 50-inch swing arc to cover a broad area, cuts to a maximum depth of 13.5 inches and features rubber chip curtains on both the operator’s console and the machine itself to aid in chip containment. A standard swing-out operator’s station provides the controls for the drive system, cutter wheel swing and up/down movements of the cutter head, while also positioning the operator at a clear viewing angle to the grinding action.

New Mulching Tractor

Fecon introduces its newest mulching tractor, the FTX400. Equipped with the Cummins QSM11 400hp engine, the FTX400 delivers aggressive hydraulic flow to the variable speed mulching head and solid power to the hydrostatic all steel oscillating undercarriage. Fitted with the Fecon BH300 Bull Hog, the FTX400 can achieve a 98-inch effective cutting height and 32-inch below grade reach. Fecon’s Power Management system optimizes torque and rotor speed. The FTX400 features a spacious and comfortable cab with outstanding visibility through Lexan windows.

Open-Front Brush Cutter

The Blue Diamond open-front brush cutter is based on the current four-blade extreme-duty brush cutter, but uses an open-front design with a heavy-duty push bar. The oversized direct drive unit hosts a 2 5/8-inch driveshaft with bearings submerged in oil. The bidirectional Eaton Char-Lynn motor requires a minimum of 16 GPM to cut up to 6-inch diameter trees. The wire protection system under the deck prevents downtime due to wire and vines by protecting the lower bearing seal. The double-edged blades allow the unit to be run in one direction for heavy cutting and in the other direction for grass. The open-back design allows consistent discharge of cut material, and the chain curtain lays it down for a clean-looking finished cut.

Compact Loader, Big Performance

Terex introduces the first in its new line of Tier 4-interim compliant compact construction equipment with the PT-110G and PT-110G Forestry compact track loaders. Featuring electronic, four-cyclinder, turbo-powered Perkins Tier 4i diesel engines, the new Terex PT-110G compact track loaders offer 332 foot-pounds of peak torque at 1,400 RPM, 45 GPM of hydraulic flow and a two-speed transmission that allows travel speeds up to 10 mph. The 110 hp PT-110G loader has an operating weight of 11,100 pounds, a tipping load of 7,600 pounds (with a 3,800-pound operating capacity at 50 percent tipping load capacity) and a lift height of 125 inches. The 111 hp PT-110G Forestry loader has an operating weight of 12,100 pounds, a tipping load of 8,600 pounds (with a 4,300-pound operating capacity at 50 percent tipping load capacity) and a lift height of 125 inches.
