New Solid Flex Tires

CEAttachments now offers new 14 x 17.5 Solid Flex Tires for skid steer loaders. The tires have a wider and longer tread bar design to provide a greater lug-to-void ratio for stability and traction. They are constructed with an enhanced mining rubber compound that resists tearing and chunking. The tread design features 2.8 inches of wearable tread and deep, self-cleaning lugs for good traction in dirt, sand, mud and gravel. The flat-proof tires have elliptical apertures that offer a pneumatic-type ride and less wear. They are molded with the rim, not pressed on, and weigh 342 pounds.

Feeding Power

Rayco’s new RC1220 is a 12-inch chipper with a 2-by-6-inch box tubing frame. The planetary drive motor powers the feed wheel for plenty of feeding power with virtually no maintenance. The 20-inch feed wheel walks over most logs without operator assistance. It also features a 12-inch high, 20-inch wide infeed opening and the X-Charge discharge system that provides better throwing characteristics, tighter chip packing and less dribble between the chipper and the truck.

Convertible Pants

Arborwear has introduced the River Tech Pant, a convertible pant made from strong, prewashed, 7-ounce nylon. The zip-off legs allow the pants to be turned into shorts. A full side zip allows for the pant leg to be completely removed without taking off shoes or getting the legs muddy. The pant also features a side cargo pocket with a hidden zippered pocket behind, a utility pocket and rear patch pockets with a Velcro closure and YKK zippers throughout. It is available in steel in even waist sizes from 30 to 40 with 30, 32, 34 and some 36-inch inseams.

Crawler Cranes

Smiley Lifting Solutions offers the new Spydercrane Mini-Crawler in capacities from 6,450 to 13,200 pounds, with a reach up to 83 feet. The model URW295 is 1.9 feet wide and will fit through a standard doorway or fence gate, or between homes. Crawlers are transported on a custom-built trailer, made to be pulled by a heavy-duty pickup. The cranes are equipped with wireless radio remote controls as standard equipment and can also be fitted with a work basket. All models move on rubber tracks and easily travel where truck-mounted cranes cannot.
